Welcome to the Immunity Writers! This is a group on deviantART where all writers come and appreciate the literary arts, because visual arts get more attention, most times (not to be biased!). Together, we write and read.

I apologize ahead of time if I do not get to your notes right away. Please be patient.

Rules:
1) To join, send a note asking to join (can be titled as "JOIN" or the like), and we will send a note back saying you're in. You don't have to be a writer to join, but being able to give constructive criticism is nice, too. Make sure after you get your OKAY, you watch us!
2) When submitting, send in a note. Title it 'Submission', and in the note put the title, the body of the story, and the original link (if there is one). At the bottom, you can put whatever comments you want if you want us to put them on our page. That is optional.
3) When reading, favorite the originals, not ours! And while you're at the originals, comment and give constructive criticism. It would mean a lot to many of the writers here!
4) Advertise us! Put us everywhere, so we can all appreciate literature together.

Contests:
The way these contests work is that monthly or bimonthly, I will give out a quote--any sort of quote. Then, you all write a story based around that quote. It can be a short story, a poem, or even a novel (If a novel, you may enter as many chapters as you'd like, but only 1 and 2 will be scored)--Whatever you can write in that amount of time. Submit it to the club with the title "Contest", give the title and body. The CoOwners will judge as soon as possible, preferably within a week. The winner will have his or her story, poem, whatever as the featured deviation. The second and third prize winners will have theirs featured in this journal.

This Month's Contests:

Contest 6:
This month's quote: "Eat, drink, and be merry. For tomorrow, we die." Write a work that exemplifies the quote. The contest is open until December 31, judging will begin January 1 and the new contest will be up then.
